欣悉“永錫難老——唐雲百齡誕辰紀念展”在澳門藝術博物館舉辦，我謹代表杭州西湖風景名勝區管委會、杭州市園林文物局，並以我個人的名義，為展覽的舉辦致以熱烈的祝賀！

杭州是中國歷史文化名城和古都之一，西湖更是干百年來志士賢達、文人雅士流連之所，在秀美的湖光山色中積澱了深厚的文化底蘊。歷朝歷代，從自居易、蘇東坡到現代畫壇的潘天壽、黃賓虹等，都為西湖增添了豐富的人文光彩。特別是生於茲、長，以其俠骨柔腸、詩情畫意為西湖增添了一段傳奇。生前，唐雲先生為家鄉慈善事業竭力奉獻，並決定向家鄉人民捐贈他的精品知藏品；百年之後，唐先生家屬秉承乃父遺志，積極支援杭州市人民政府在西子湖畔建立唐雲藝術館，並捐贈了一批唐雲先生遺作和藏品。唐雲先生是福厚之人，他不獨享其福，而將其回報社會，回報桑梓，此情可戚，此志可嘉！今天，唐雲先生的書畫作品及藏品作為杭州人民的友好使者，在先生百歲誕辰之際來到了澳門，既實現了先生一直想去澳門辦展的夙願，又加深了杭州與澳門之間的文化和情感交流。  

今年是杭州西湖申報世界文化景觀遺產的關鍵之年，唐雲先生的藝術作為西湖文化遺產的重要組成部分，他的展覽也是西湖申遺的形象大使，希望澳門同胞在欣賞唐先生藝術的同時，也積極支援杭州西湖申遺。在此，我誠摯地邀請澳門同胞多來杭州走走看看，美麗的西湖歡迎您！

       I am glad to learn that the Unfading Mrmory:Exhibition in Commemoration of the Centennial Anniversary of Tang Yun’sBirth is to be held in Macao Museum of Art,and on behalf of the Management Committee of Hangzhou west lake Area and the Hangzhou Municipal bureau of Gardens and Cultural Relics,I woold like wo extend my warmest congratulation on the opening of exhibition.

       Hangzhou is one of China’s most renowned historic cities,which was both a cultural and ancient capital.During the past centuries,the West Lake of Hangzhou has teen a place where the literati,gentlemen,and lofty and prominent persons loved to linger,and is permeated by a profound cultural essence amid enchanting landscape.

       As dynasty,the cultural rilte-ranging from acclaimed poets such as Bai Juyi and su Dongpo to notable of the contemporaty painting circle such as Tianshou and Huang Binghong – played a pivotal part in enriching the humanitarian dimensions od West Lake.In particular,TangYun – who was born and raised in this very place – added legends to West Lake with his heroic tenderness and poetic painting.Throughout his lifetime,TangYun devoted himself to charity in his hometown and donated his fine works and collections to the people of his hometown;following his death,TangYun’s fulfilled his father’s wish by actively supporting the Tang Yun’s fine works and collections.

       Tang Yun was a fortunate person who never begrudged sharing his fortune with others.His devotion to society and contribution to his hometown were highly respected and admired by all! Today,Tang Yun’s calligraphy,painting and collection – which serve as a friendly ambassador of the Tang’s long cherished hope of oranising an exhibition in Macao but enhances the cultural and sentimental exchanges between Hangzhou and Macao.

       This year marks the critical time of the application for inscription of the West Lake of Hangzhou on the list of the World Heritage cultural landscape.Tang Yun’s arts form a significant part of the West Lake’s cultural heritage;hence,his exhibition serves as an image ambassador in Hangzhou’s application for world heritage recognition.It is hoped that while savouring Tang’s arts,our firend in Macao can eagerly support Hangzhou’s application.

       I hereby sincerely invite Macao compatriots to make more vrists to Hangzhou – the beautiful West Lake awaits you!
