今年是著名書畫家、藝術收藏家唐雲先生的百年誕辰，民政總署轄下澳門藝術博物館舉辦“永錫難老——唐雲百齡誕辰紀念展”  ，展出唐雲所創作之書畫以及其生前收藏之書畫和文玩，展品合計逾二百件套。

唐雲自幼酷愛書畫，對古代名畫手追心摹多年，浸淫甚深，擅繪花、山水、人物，且能詩善書，造詣頗高，而立之年已享譽藝壇。他的作品清新俊逸、沉鬱雄厚，古雅之中也閃爍著現代精神。在從事藝術創作的同時，基於對藝術的廣泛而深刻的愛好，他也從事書畫和各種文玩的蒐集和收藏，對紫砂壺、硯台、竹刻、印章、碑帖、典籍等均有所涉獵，其中尤以收藏八把曼生壺著稱於世，以至於晚年以“八壺精舍”名其書齋。

而是次展覽展示的，正是唐雲多年書畫創作和藝術收藏的成果。其中精品頗多，除唐雲繪畫精品如《千古蘭竹誼》卷外，還有如八大山人《蕉石圖》軸、石濤《梅竹圖》軸、金農《詩詞題記草稿》冊、齊白石《苞米麻雀圖》軸，最特別的是前遊之八把陳鴻壽銘、楊彭年製的曼生壺，乃難得一見的藝術奇珍。通過這些種類豐富的展品，我們能較全面地看到唐雲的創作歷程和藝術品味，也活生生地體會到一位典型現代中國傳統藝術家的藝術生活。

民政總署轄下澳門藝術博物館自成立以來，一直致力於中國近現代名人書畫的整理和研究，向藝術愛好者及市民大眾展示傳統中國文化是如何繼承和發展的。  “永錫難老——唐雲百齡誕辰紀念展”也是這方面的一次努力。此展覽得到了杭州西湖風景名勝區管理委員會、杭州唐雲藝術館和唐雲哲嗣唐逸覽以及收藏家的鼎力支持，本人在此代表民政總署，表達衷心的感謝！

       This year marks the centennial anniversary of the birth Of Tang Yun,a renowned Chinese,calligrapher, painter and art collector To commemorate this special occasion. the Macao Museum of Art under i.A.C.M has specially organised an exhibition entitled Unfading Memory: Exbihition in Commemoration of the Centennial Anniversary of Tang Yun's birth, showcasing more than 200 pieces of Tang Yun's collected works of calligraphy, paintings and cultural artefacts as well as his own creations.

       Tang Yun was very fond of calligraphy and painting from childhood and often copied famous anciant paintings in his teens, thereby developing a Solid foundation in the field . He excellad not only at flower and bird, landscape and portrait but poems and calligraphy and achieved high artistic attainment in these fields . in particular. in his thirties he enloyed a reputation in painting circles. His works feature a fresh .  leisurely,  brooding yet maJestic style, while reflecting the spirit of the morden era in classic elegance.In addition to art creation, he devoted himself  to collecting ancient calligraphy, paintings and cultural artefacts He was very enthusiastic about zisha (purple clay). teapots. mk stones, bamboo carvings. seals, stone rubbings and ancient books and records and spent much time hunting for them His most famous collecting were the eight’Man Sheng’ teapots.In his later years,Tang Yun even referred to his den as the’Studio of Eight Great Teapots.’

       The exhibition displays Tang Yun’s years of achievements in calligraophy,paintingand collecting which in clued Tang Yun’sfine work Orchid and Bamboo in hand scroll,Ba Da shan Ren’s Trees and Postcripts,and Qi Bai Shi’rice and Sparrpw in hanging scroll,etc.Audiences can alos savour rare works of echibits,exbihition goers can not only accompany Tang Yun on his creative yourney and appreciate his artistic perception in its entirety but vividly witness artistic career of a typical Chinese traditional artist of modern times.

       Since its establishment,the Macao Museum of art under I.A.C.M.has devoted itself to collating and studying calligraphy and paintings by famous Chinese artists of morden times,with a view to sharing with the public and art enthusiasts the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese culture. The exbihition Unfading ‘sMemory:Exhibition in Commemoration of the Centennial Anniversary of Tang Yun,Birth is unquestionably an endeavour to achieve this end.
